Bad Points

Not many branches so getting hold of more than £250 cash means travelling to Plymouth (20 miles) or taking money out over several days. However they have a deal with the post office so I can do quite a lot of stuff with them.
I've given them eight out of 10 because they still have bank charges and few branches - an ideal bank wouldn't do this, but maybe that's unrealistic...


General Comments

I love my bank. Cooperative Bank 10. Friendly helpful UK call centres. Money invested ethically (and apparently not involved in derivatives, so considerably safer than other banks). I feel like they're not out to make huge sums of cash off me in underhand ways like other banks I've been with.I've gone overdrawn a few times with the Coop, and they've cancelled some of the charges - I went overdrawn by about 7p once and got charged - they agreed that was a bit much and refunded the money. When they haven't cancelled the fee I didn't really expect them to. So far I haven't had too many problems, just the same sort of problems you get with any bank e.g. overdraft fees from Direct debits going out the day before I get paid etc.
