Roald Dahl uses many descriptive (and some times funny) words to describe people, places and emotions that he feels she goes through an exciting and sometimes cruel childhood. Boy: Tales of Childhood can be quite a boring and annoying book for people that don't enjoy semi-autobiographys. I enjoyed this book because of the interesting way it describes the way Roald Dahl grew up without making the read tedious and boring.
Overall it is a very descriptive and interesting read.
