I used Clairol Natural Instincts Shade number 2 Sahara. I called the Clairol hotline before purchasing the color since I already had salon colour-highlights and lowlights in my naturally medium blond hair. I am very glad I called because they recommended a completely different shade of blond than the one I was going to buy. I was going to buy one of those new champagne blonde shades but b/c of my highlights they warned me not to do this. I have to say I am very happy with the results I achieved with Sahara. My haircolour is more even, my roots are covered and my hair is in great condition-better than it was before colouring as it had been very damaged. I would recommend this shade to anyone who is also a natural blonde with highlights that are growing out and roots you are trying to cover. Also, the people on the hotline are wonderful-very helpful so call first if in doubt!
