I have just bought a 2001 Y Reg Peugeot 106 1.5 Diesel as was trying to reduce costs.......... had a Fiat Punto Sporting previously rubbish on fuel and cost a fortune in parts. Fuel Economy Brilliant 55mpg. Bad points are noisy in air turbulence on motorway.
Steering although has PAS is pretty heavy.
Needs more regular servicing every 6k on diesel model.
