We bought a "5" day trip to Lapland with first choice Dec/09 to Yllas (Snow Princess Hotel) From London. The reps were very nice. They advertised a transfer time of about 2 hours. But it took us a total of 7 hours to get to the hotel, with nothing to eat, us our 4-year-old son and other families on the same trip. Included in the 7hs there was about 2hs waiting at the airport for others to come to join our group, and another 1h delay because the bus "run out of fuel"
When we got on the way we heard that instead of going directly to our hotel, we had to stop at another airport to pick up some other passengers. Only them we were giving a bar of chocolate and a drink.
At the time we booked there was another company who offered the same holiday, but I chose to go with First choice because we were going to get at the hotel about 1pm and we could ' ve enjoyed that afternoon, like they said so on their website, instead we got there 10min. before the restaurant closed and we told to rush and have dinner. Next day, we spent a couple of hours waiting and filling our complaint form (Others were doing the same so there was a queue). We lost a whole afternoon of fun the first day and a couple of hours to make a complaint next day too. On top of that, the last day It was on the brochure that we were to leave the hotel 10:40am, but just before 8am we got a ' wake up ' call to say our bus was leaving and we had to go ' now ' . When we took our print out showing the time we were giving of our departure, they said it had changed the day before, but we weren ' t informed about that either. In the end our 5day trip turn up to be only 3 days.

I am very disappointed with what i feel was their lack of professionalism and respect to their customers, all they seemed to do was blame the weather that had nothing to do with it.
