Good Points

Flexibility of perfromance and overtaking

Handling neutral and predicatable, no issue with high speed weave (screen kept lowish and top box removed).
Good spec and luggage


Bad Points

An expensive bike apart from that none identified yet; bike has less than 1,000 on clock. Due to have a full UK tour next week which should identify any real shortcomings.


General Comments

The Honda ST1300-Pan European is easy to ride, not as heavy as expected. Flexible gearbox good in both town and on country roads. Having swapped a Deaville (NTV 650) and Varedero (1000cc), I rate this bike better than both in all areas on the Varedero (Pillion comfort to be confirmed) and with the exception of fuel economy and filtering in London on the Deaville.

Not sure about the screen, being 6ft 2, on a high setting I get sucked forward.
