Took an unpaid day from work so that the The Post Office Phone Service could connect me. They never turned up!!!! Rang customer service at 5pm, asked 'Where is my phone line?'they reply 'your call out was cancelled''why?' I ask, they say 'You must have cancelled it. 'No i didn't, I have sat here all day waiting for you' I reply, 'and I've lost a day's pay' Suddenly the line (to my mobile) goes dead. I then receive a text from the PO telling me my phone will be live tomorrow. So I took another day off work, again a no show!!!! This time I ring customer service and ask them what they intend to do as I cannot afford two days from work in one month. 'Nothing' came the reply. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told ' She's only going to say the same thing, 'there is nothing we can do' After a wait of 45minutes, she finally came on the line to tell me, 'the other assistant already told you there is nothing we can do but cancel order if you can't afford another day off' and then put the assistant on the line again!!!!!!! I'm fuming, any other business would be held responsible. Tomorrow BT are coming to fit a phone line, it may cost £20 more for connection, but it's worth that for the politeness and friendliness of it's customer service team. To the PO the biggest raspberry I can blow, to BT a salute.
