Bad Points

tiny space for storage, Not the fastest at the lights but I did not buy it for that. It was not cheap as I got a shock in trying the car buyers trick of negotiating a discount. You get what you pay for and I think I paid top end.


General Comments

as a new biker training for Enduro India and no longer in the flush of yoof the Honda Varadero is a dream. It even has other bikers nodding at me on the road until they see the L plates and all think the bike is much bigger than the billed 125. I am 15 stone and it still sees 70mph on the flat, its tall frame and solid presence means that drivers have no problem in seeing me. I also wanted practice in handling and manhandling a heavier bike in preparation for the trip. Comfortable, good presence and not a replica race bike that looks too small for a well built bloke. All black, looks great.

    Good review, I rode one for 2 years, cant say I could have expected anymore than the machine gave me, agreed with reviewer and for people who say its slow, well the clue is in the 125cc engine.
