Staff were very rude and not helpful. Food was tasteless.
General Comments
When we went into the sheperd and dog to put our name down for a table we were not told we would have to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for a table. If i would have been told this i would not have waited. When we asked how long the wait would be an hour later the staff were extremley rude and not helpful at all. When we asked why we weren't told the wait would be that long they said they didn't give waiting times, when 5 minutes before this she told another couple it was 1 - 2 hour wait? i think we should have been given a rough time when we orignally put our name down. Once we were finally called through to be seated the Carvery was awful. The gravy tasted like water and the vegtables were tasteless. It was certainly not worth the wait. I am very disappointed as we have been to the Sheperd and Dog several times before and the food and service has been great. I can definitley say i wont be going back there for a while.
