It wouldn't be suitable for younger children from the ages 6-8
Its a very long book and may take a long time to read for some readers
General Comments
The Witches is a hilarious, gruesome and excellent story for children aged 9-12. Roald Dahl includes some fantastic writing skills and aspects of the text use language that will make you laugh aloud when reading it. Dahl's at it agian with a fun- filled adventure that any age will enjoy. The storyline is : A boy lives with his grandma in Norway, because his parents passed away. He has to face witches, mice and potions. What will happen to the boy?? Read the book and experience a wonderful journey through one of Roald Dahl's most famous award- winning books!!!
