The Garmin Forerunner 405 is relatively easy to set up, clear bright screen, lots of functionality. Paired quickly with heart rate monitor and held the connection better than my Polar. Also, found satellites and held a consistent GPS signal, although Richmond park isn't the most challenging place.

Bezel touch solution a bit temperamental. It's not small....
Despite all the warnings i somehow seemed to have messed up the PC syncing, which means I will have to spend time uninstalling the USB driver - why do I have to go through driver downloads on day one of ownership?

So far so good - really happy with the GPS element, and the distance it reported on my first run matched exactly the distance I had calibrated elsewhere. Still getting used to the touch bezel. Looking forward to integrating with maps..
