Ive been with Utility Warehouse a couple of years, however, a fault appeared on the line and I could not get it sorted. I decided to cancel the line but they still insist on charging me for 30 days. Today I told them that I would take my gas and electric elsewhere and was told "OK."

I still cannot believe their attitude. I never missed a payment, never complained and for them to say "OK." I cannot believe that in the current climate where people are losing their jobs that a "Customer Service" advisor could speak to me in such a nonchalant manner.

    Nonchalant or polite? Did you want them to argue with you? 30 days (or 28 days) is a pretty standard notice of cancellation, I think you will find...
