Hi we went to Disney for 5 days and in a party of 15....10 adults 5 children. we got upgraded to
montana rooms which for our own family of 4 with 2 kids of 4 and 1 it was a good spacious room that could easily fit in a cot and plenty of storage. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily..it had a hairdryer though it was very weak!..not sure if standard rooms have this. We generally had breakfast around 9am which was very busy though we were usually seated within 10mins of waiting. They usually ask you if one day you want to have breakfast in the park..this is worth doing and was less busy.
The park is very expensive.....2.50 euros is the cheapist drink. For a hotdog/crisps/drink as a snack is about 8 euros. Our tip is that at breakfast they have lovely small baguettes with ham/cheese/chicken etc. we used to make up sandwiches each breakfast time. and I think everyone was doing the same!..we also filled our bottles with juice aswell before we headed out! if you have a baby you can get milk at the bar to fill a bottle..they never charged us.
We had our main meal of a night...disney village has lots of restaurants...though be expected to pay about 18-25 euros for a adult meals....kids 5-13 euros...again our tip as we had a car was to travel to the "val de europe mall "(about a 5 min drive if that and dead easy)..lots of restaurants here. We went to an italian and spent 10 euros per adult for a main big meal and a drink. We also went to a chinese on the main street here and had a good 3 course meal for 15 euros each.
As a treat we went to cafe mickey in disney village...expensive but well worth it!...the characters come out and walk round all the tables all night so you can get plenty of up close pictures and get them to sign any autographs for the kids!they also at intervals start to play music and everyone pretty much gets up dancing with the characters!
the parks themselves are really good...obv get used to queing!make use of the fastpasses though!...would recommend the lilo and stitch/stunt show/animagic/parade shows for kids.
