Good Points

Excellent location on the outskirts of Hisaronu. The apartment was one of only 12 on this small complex and was set in landscaped garden. The swimming pool and children's pool was surrounded by large terraces and the apartment had it own sun beds with mattresses and small table with parasols for use by the pool, were we tended to spend most of our time. The apartment was extremely spacious and as there were 6 adults sharing the accommodation we never fell over each other or had to queue for the bathroom when getting ready as it has three!! . It had everything very comfortable presented to a very high standard - we did'nt want to move. This apartment was the best we have ever stayed at and we are returning in May 2009


Bad Points

The apartment is a duplex design set over two levels so could perhaps prove problematic for anyone with walking difficulties. There are just a few steps into the apartment and as the area is mountainous - relieving to find the surrounding area relatively flat.


General Comments

The location of the Oscar C4 apartment was excellent. Reached from Dalaman airport in 55 minutes by the transfer company recommended by the management. We arrived in the early hours and the driver let us into the property, turned on the lights and bought in our suitcases. The local management checked on us the following day.
It was set back from the main Olu Deniz / Fethiye road by about 50 metres - this is not a busy road but links the area well by dolmus (bus) which runs regularly. Hisaronu took 5 minutes, Olu Deniz with its Blue Lagoon in 10 minutes, and the Ghost Town at Kaya took approx 20 minutes. In the opposite direction Fethiye was well worth a visit a fantastic market on Tuesday and it has a beautiful harbour. You can also find the ancient tombs set into the cliff face here.
Hisaronu also had a market on Monday, smaller than Fethiye, yet still had loads of bargains.
Ovacik doesn't not have a center as such, it spans either side of Atarturk Caddesi (main road) but there are some typical Turkish restaurants and a variety of bars and shops line the road,
All in all a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location and great people. Forgot the weather - HOT HOT HOT
