thorpe park is a great theme park to go to with the addition of their new coaster "saw, the ride" unfortunately so it seems, old habits that have always plagued this place still remain. the park has been open less than a week and already stealth is broken, loggers leap isnt working and a few other rides are packing up through the day. the new rollercoaster is okay but in my opinion hardly groundbreaking, there is hardly any feeling of force on the ride what so ever. and to make matters worse and this has nothing to do with the way the park is run, the kids. they say that all queue jumpers will be escorted from the park,,, well, ive never seen that. in saying all this negative blurb the park itself is okay when its up and running, there are enough rides to keep queues manageable, you have a nice balance of flat rides, water rides and a pretty respectable repertoir of roller coasters now. the parks layout is good and the staff do a pretty good job of keeping the place looking clean. even though the annual pass is now a whopping £150 new now its still worth getting to go to this place along with chessington, alton towers and other london attractions. people planning to bring short kids along should just be aware that a growing number of rides in the park are height restricted to above 1.4metres.
