General Comments

I cant understand how people dont give the GTA 4 game 10/10! if u compare what you're getting for £40 with gta 4 to what you get with other games its no contest at all.
Even without any game content the game is a work of art. i do some 3d modeling and i can tell you its not easy to do a great building with as much detail as the ones in LC let alone a whole city with great atmospherics etc.
Personally i wouldn't say there was a lack of missions. weather it had more or less than GTA SA i couldn't say because i dont count them. Also i don't rush through them just so i can say i've finished the game 1st... i have a life! i'd rather take my time, play a few missions and then i tend to leave it for a while and just mess around. not many games give you that freedom and thats why GTA is hard to get bored of. Most games only let you play the mission in hand and when you die you spawn back at the begining of the 'set track'. by set track i mean there's pretty much only one route you must take through the level but with GTA you can tackle alot of missions from different angles if you find it hard. So each time you do the same mission it can be slightly different.
A great new feature i love in GTA4 is when it gives you a choice of who to kill or whether or not to kill someone. it makes you think and decide which character you prefer. also if you start the game again once you've finished you can make the opposite choices and the game will be a little different 2nd time round.
There's only 2 dissapointments i've found with GTA 4. the 1st is that there's no airplanes that are flyable. i know they left them out in respect of 911 but i'm still dissapointed.
the 2nd is that there's not any 'FUN' cheats to play with. GTA SA had lots of cheat codes to mess with, most of them had no point other than to entertain and that was great because at the end of the day thats what games are all about right, entertainment? my personal favourate in SA was the 'jump 100ft in the air on a push bike' cheat. loved hopping around the map onto buildings it was great! Oh that reminds me there's no push bike in GTA4 which is unfortunate! (skatebords and/or rollerskates would be cool for future games).
I love the whole media aspect of the game.TV and the internet are awsome features and of course they've added about 10 new radio stations which gives alot more veriaty.
Dating is good too but can sometimes get a little too much with everyone ringing you to hang out. i still wouldn't get rid of that feature though.
Anyway all in all i think the game is amazing! Value for money is phenominal! To be honest if you take in account what you get from a video game and compare it to GTA 4 you've got to wonder why all games are priced the same. Rockstar are breaking bounaries with every GTA release they produce and hopefully they'll never stop. they just keep getting better. I think the people who give the game bad ratings are unrealistic and had really high expectations because of rumours they read on the internet. well it met all my expectaions because the only thing i expected from GTA4 is that it would be awsome... and it is!
