General Comments
Practical Fishkeeping is one of the better Aquarist magazines available from the UK. Fish photographs are outstanding. I have kept fish for over 30 years from coldwater, tropical and currently with an African Rift valley setup in 140 gallon tank. I have also subscribed to this magazine from time to time over those years and can say the content caters for all the above together with marine also. ie the full range available to the hobby. The magazine does run some great features from time to time and then sometimes a few months will go by with the same information, nice pictures, same adverts but nothing new (and I still rate myself a keen novice !). I stopped subscribing and now read the front cover and content prior to purchase on a magazine stall as I was only keeping about 2 or 3 magazines a year for reference.
