Good Points

The small size the Mc350 offers. Did work well for a short while!


Bad Points

Just about everything !


General Comments

All I can say is that within 14 months of installation: The programming buttons died, the salt tank ended up with water to the top of it pertinently, it decided to do its own re-generation whenever which resulted in the salt low alarm going off at odd times like 3.00am ! Then it started demanding salt when the unit was full, and finally it decided not to regenerate automatically at all. Currently, until I can afford a new one, it ' s plugged into a manual time switch and using its start-up sequence as a form of regeneration, it ' s switched off briefly, twice a day for about ten minutes. Seems to work to a point. I found the only two things that work left on the control panel is the display and the alarm, the latter has recently been permanently disconnected after it went off half an hour after I ' d just re-filled it !! Very disappointed with this unit, £5000 spent on the best to re-fit a whole new central heating system & plumbing, due to hard water, and the only bit that ' s gone wrong in this installation, the MC350, and not because of the hard water !
