Good Points

Excellent sounding kit. The 12x9 and 13x10 rack toms sound great at a mid to upper mid range and the iso mounts are fantastic! The 16 and 18 floors are great at mid to lower mid range. The big rubber feet on the floor tom legs are spring loaded therefore the floors are more resonant than with standard legs! The black chrome oyster pearl wrap is gorgeous. Oh, and one more thing the 24x20 (or 20x24) kick drum is an absolute monster. I just changed out the Remo powerstroke 3 batter to a remo powersonic. with the self-muffling resonant head, no dampening needed (I haven't used any muffling on ANY drum in well over 2 decades!)

Bad Points

None. I'm not a huge fan of wood snares but I like this one. I still prefer my Peace 6.5" hand-hammered steel snare. It's a different kind of beast!

General Comments

I'll put my Pro M kit against damn near any kit. As a matter of fact, I recently did a double-drum gig with a drummer playing dw drums. My kit was the only one that was heard. the guy with the dw kit was pretty pissed that he wasn't heard! I was crusin' not bustin a sweat and he was pounding the daylights out of his (good thing this gig was outdoors!)
