The Boots Kitchen Appliances website was informative and the washing machine I wanted was cheaper than anywhere else. I was given a Saturday delivery slot between 3pm and 7pm, we had a family Wedding Reception to go to that evening so by 7.30pm when the washing machine hadn't arrived I telephoned Boots Customer Services to find out what was going on. The Advisor keep me waiting on the line while he telephoned the driver. The driver did not answer so the Advisor told me that they do deliver up until 9pm so he could see no reason why I shouldn't get my goods, I explained we had a function to attend but said we would wait in as with three children all needing their uniforms for Monday I really had not alternative. The Washing Machine never arrived and we were late for the Wedding Reception.

I telephoned them on Sunday and was told that they do not deliver on Sundays so they couldn't find out what had gone wrong, but I would PROBABLY(!) get it on Monday! I said that I wanted my delivery costs refunded the Advisor said she would have to talk to her Manager about that so it remains to be seen whether I get them back.
