Great for chocolate lovers

Not allowed to take photographs on the "cadabra"
Chocolate in the shop not as cheap as you would expect


General Comments

Been to Cadbury World, Birmingham, twice now and unfortunately it is getting more commercialised and you feel you are not seeing as much as you did in the earlier days.
It is very hit and miss if you get to see the chocolate being made and I am guessing it depends on how busy the parties are, how large the groups etc.
You are virtually forced to stand and watch the presentations and films with the doors automatically opening to let you through to the next area after the showing.
The first time I went through we did go to see the chocolate being made in the factory, Two years later on a second visit - this had stopped - very dissapointed as were the friends I had taken especially.
In the shop afterwards, most of the chocolate could be found cheaper at the supermarket. However, bags of mis-shapen chocolate were still to be bought at a reasonable price. But this too could be bought cheaper on a local market stall.
Was good but looks like time has turned it into too much of a commercial venture and for us, it has now lost its appeal.
