Good Points
Mitsubishi L200 2.5TD Double Cab Pick-up, year 2000.
It's been rugged and reliable for me.
The easiest thing in the world to service and maintain, anyone could do it.
Excellent 4x4 with dif lock, great for pulling stuff in the mud with good tyres.
Pulls my 2 and a half ton trailer with no fuss.
Fits 5 comfortably in my experience.
For something that weighs 3 tonnes it moves when you put your foot down.

Bad Points
Having the cup holders above the radio is a strange decision.
Not the best mpg in my opinion.
Nowhere to put left foot when not changing gear.

General Comments
You have to remember that this is a 3 tonne pick-up that you can fit up to five people in.
Its a 4x4 made for going off road but also works well on the road, so best of both worlds.
In the end it's the best looking double cab up to 2005 in my opinion.
Go buy a used one with anything up to 100,000 miles on the clock and enjoy it. Just make sure its been looked after and the oil was changed regularly, it is a turbo after all.
Being a diesel with the right care and attention like everything it should last you for years.
