I have to say that i have had good service from Pinnacle on their Helpucover insurance.
When i had a car accident that put me off work, they paid out.
Maybe they've changed the way the approach things now, as the other comments are quite old, and I believe the Financial Services Authority has stepped in to regulate all insurance sales now.
I bought my policy through the mortgage arrangers
not my mortgage lender.
Dont know if that makes a diference, but i have read somewhere that it is always best not to buy through the mortgage lender as they are under pressure to make sales at pretty much any cost.

    Has anyone else had a positive experience of insuring with Pinnacle that might convince me to stay with them?

    No......best advise is to get out before you lose any more money.
