Small battery, if you cant start fairly quickly the battery output drops and you need jump start, Brake needs to be applied before you can start this takes another 21watts from the system.
but you can fit a relay to help this,when new the carb slide would stick ,remedy use redex in with fuel.
General Comments
I have owned my 400 Burgman for 9 years, many trips to france.
Have found it very reliable and economical 70 plus. I ride very hard and enjoy the road holding with good storage with top box, I own many bikes including bmw and have found more fun on the Burgy, I find many motorcyclist tend to treat scooterist with very little respect, until you show them your rear end.
Good allround machine good touring easy to maintain, exhaust much to heavey, stick with bridgestone tyres and change in pairs use synthic oils with activate additive to give you many thousands of miles, But I would like to get this scoot painted in rizla colours and increase ground clearance, this year I intend to tour southern france with my son who has a k100 bmw.
