I first tried Ocean Salt when buying a few products in Lush and when I reached the till they offered me a lucky dip where by you could win another product for free! Well who was I to argue with that. So my free product was this one and I couldn't wait to try it out!

It comes in a little black tub and inside you'll find a grainy bright blue and white paste that smells like salt and mint. After wetting your skin you gently use it to exfoliate. The grains can sometimes be a little hard for my skin, usually after the tub is about half way through and I'm thinking this is something to do with the remaining contents getting wet whilst I'm using it in the shower. However in general this goes on really nicely and starts to melt under your fingers. Once washed off your skin feels tightened and fresh.

With continued use I found this really cleared up my combination skin. I don't tend to get many spots, but I do get oily patches around my nose and dry flaky skin on my forehead. Within two weeks this had disappeared.

I would strongly recommend this product; it's just as shame that it's rather expensive!
