Good Points

Lovely Windows, well priced, no pushy salesperson, job well done, fitters great and tidied up after themselves. Whole job complete.


Bad Points

The surveryor had measured the windows slightly wrong.


General Comments

We had someone from Anglian Home Improvements around regarding our windows. We were looking at getting 12 windows which included bays and turning one window into a window and door. We had several salespeople come around I find sales people a bit of a headache because you never really know who to believe. We had several quotes, one of which never told me anything about the product he was selling. (I like to know the product details, and know that the sales person knows his product and the good/bad points about it) So that put me off although that company were a bit cheaper. In the end we decided to go for Anglian, as thinking about it.. the market these days means that if a company goes under your guarantee is invalid. No one is competely safe but I figured the larger the company the slightly safer option.

The sales person didn't do the haggling bit, I said what we had been quoted so far, and he came straight down to the same level, which I respected. I like the idea of the payment over a period of time as it meant we could get all our windows done now, in one go and not have to pay a huge amount up front. A few weeks later, we have lovely windows put in for a reasonable price. The workmen were polite and helpful and cleaned up after themselves. It took a little longer as the surveyor had miscalculated the size but the end result is lovely. We had a few handles missed off but they have since come back and finished them... all to a high standard. Everything was lovely and so far, all dealings with Anglian have been great. I am very very happy with their product and service and would definitely recommend them to people I know (at least in our area).

I think sometimes that people are much more ready to put in bad reviews when a job is poor, but when a job is done well, they don't remember to always give praise where it's due. When I read all the bad reviews (after we had signed the contract) I must admit I was concerned, but these concerns have been squashed with a job well done, so I felt I had to remember to give the praise where due. Thank you Anglian.
