General Comments
The Crosman Quest 1000 is good value. I own a Gammo Big Cat that is a great air rifle. I wanted to pick up a cheap breakbarrel for my 12 year old to shoot with me so I picked up a Crossman Quest 1000. After switching out the stock scope I found this gun does not like certain pellet designs. Hollow point and flat nosed pellets are all over. Pointed and rounded nose pellets hit good. Gammo PBA ammo made mine a tack driver at 50 yards. I have now had the gun for over a year and have taken many tree rats with it. I find myself using ths Crossman and giving the Gammo to my son to use now. Keep it clean, (yes you have to clean pellet guns to keep them shooting straight) and well oiled and it will be a great gun for you.
