Good Points

Reasonably Priced
Offers online eg. half hour top up on a 1hr 30min recreational pass
Superb instructors
If you're more advanced i noticed they have park lessons 1-2 times a month (although it's be a while till i'm that good!!!)

Bad Points

Would be costly if you plan to take your family for the day!
Snowboarding boots aren't the best but do the job
Having to scan your lift pass EVERY time you go up the lift!!!!

General Comments

Chillfactor is only 30 mins down the road from me, but until last week hadn't had the opportunity to go. It's been 3-4 years since i've been on my board so I booked a private 1-1 lesson which was 50 mins long to get me back up to scratch. I hired equipment and they got it quickly set up for me.

My instructor was fantastic, took an interest in what I had to say , was very patient and had me on the main slope by the end of that session! (Can't for the life of me remember his name though) I went back in a couple of days to have another go and he was happy to give me a few helpful tips to progress me further. As i've only been twice and not entirely confident yet, I decided to go as soon as it opened (9:30am) as it isn't as busy so you have plenty of space to practice.

When i did leave I noticed that it had got alot busier with quite a few schools/clubs having lessons etc and there were some lengthy queues at reception and for ski/snowboard hire, so make sure you leave with enough time to queue up for your kit.

Just be warned, don't go on the main slope unless you can control your speed, link your turns, stop and use the lifts unassisted. Staff are at the top and bottom of the slope keeping an eye out for those that are being reckless or can't control themselves. And they do ask you to leave if you aren't up to the required standard.

Otherwise a really good morning out! Can't wait to go back :)
