General Comments

Before Dirty Dancing hits Broadway (if it does) I think they will need to strengthen the cast. Josef Brown dances great, but he seemed miscast in the role - especially with his Australian accent. They NEED TO SING. Dancing around the stage wasn't satisfying enough to me. It is a long play and could be shortened easily - there were some silly scenes that didn't add anything to the show. Spend more time on building a relationship/romance between the leads. I was disappointed. It wasn't awful, but other than the finale, it was rather flat.
