General Comments

15 !!!! hour delay in Katowice Airport with WizzAir.

No representative of the airline or the airport was available during our delay. I only saw 2 staff members who were doing their best to cope.
Flight supposed to depart at 20:00. Finally departed at 10:30.

Asked numerous staff throughout the airport for 2 telephone calls. NO-ONE would provide it. I kept getting passing to other staff members (gave up at 1am).
Lenghty notices were given in Polish. Short brief ones were given in English. The Polish passangers on our flight were fantastic and translated most announcements for us.
Originally told we had to stay in the airport for a 04:45am departure. At 01:00 they decided to get us a hotel. A drink and sandwich was given at 01:00.

Stood in the rain outside the airport at 02:00 for 20 mins waiting for a bus to hotel. The hotel was paid for by WizzAir, we arrived at 02:30. Could have got us there hours earlier. Wake up call at 07:50 to say our return bus was leaving at 08:00. My friend did not get a wake up call.

I accept things can go wrong with flight and I would prefer to spend a few hours on the ground rather than fly with a problem but we were treated with very little respect! Lack of Information was terrible! I felt so sorry for other families as there were a lot of babies on the flight.

Filling the compensation forms at the moment so fingers crossed.
