I would go again to the Santa Maria Apartments as the good points easily outdo the bad. Great position. Easy access to supermarkets/bars and restaurants. Great for bus use and lots of taxis down the road. Easy access to the beach. You can buy a BONO ticket from several shops in the area which make travelling on the bus very cheap indeed. All the Spanish use them. If you travel using your BONO ticket it is only a couple of Euros from the Airport to St. Eugenie's down the little road. If you fancy a mystery trip just jump on the 1st bus that comes along :o) The aparthotel is a little tired, and VERY Spanish. Sounds a silly comment but, when travelling alone there wasn't anyone to talk to. The waiters served the Spanish first, which again, I suppose is only natural. English touts catch you at the end of the walk but a polite 'I'm not interested' is usually enough. Funnily enough they only bother you when walking with a partner, never on your own.
