I have owned three PCs bought from Dell, including the Inspiron laptop I'm using to write this review. In fact, my very first online purchase was my second Dell PC ten years ago and it turned up in good time and in good shape. I've had nothing but good service from them.

The only grumble I personally have is that they're probably slightly over-priced and I hate the amount of rubbish pre-installed on your new machine. I also don't think I should be obliged to pay for Microsoft Office, a mouse and keyboard. It should always be my choice but you don't get the option to remove these items.

HOWEVER, in January, I was tempted like a fly to the fire by the cheapness and apparently great offers by MESH Computers. I ordered a base unit before reading about MESH's abhorrent customer 'care'. They took my money instantly and informed me that the machine will be delivered within 14 days '6 weeks later and here I am without my £980 and without the PC I ordered.

In fact, when I get that money back from MESH, I will be stopping by the Dell website once again and apologising for jumping ship by ordering my fourth machine through them.
