Good Points

I now done 125.00 miles and had routine services its never let me down and is as still as comfortable as when i first got it . The miles i have done are loaded miles and not empty miles and still pulls like a train. I have had all types of van and have to say this probably the best.
I hope to get 250,00 miles out of it ! Has all of the extras you need for early morning , heated screen etc and air con for the hot days stuck in traffic.Must be a good van look how many there are on the road
Its very versatile and the drivers chair is at a perfect height for the motorway

Bad Points

Couple of points had to change hoses to inter cooler due to starting to split and causing power to fade thought it was a blown exhaust. This is common as the local ford dealer had loads of spares on the shelf cost £70 for the pair they are now made of a different rubber ! .
Key fob breaks off the key ring to easily .
The headlights get dirty really quickly in the winter and you have to clean every day perhaps I'm a tad lazy
Wish they sound proof the cab a bit more
Should have a six speed gearbox version.

General Comments

I believe the good points of the Ford Transit Connect, out-weigh the bad, and when I change I will get another one
Working the costs out the Transit Connect sits about 30% cheaper than the Astra van we got keeping it on the road. However the economy is better on the Astra, although, to be fair the Astra doesn't hold anywhere near the amount of weight as the Transit Connect.

Its time the designers ought to design a van that can be serviced on cheaper as the service times for changing clutches, cam belts seems to be getting longer and longer which therefore costs even more.
