Good Points

well engineered,bomb proof design,good finish,rekord trigger unit still the best adjustable trigger unit to date.easy to stripdown and maintain .lots of tuning goodies available to tune to FAC(if you own a firearms certificate.an accurate gun even tho it recoils.excellent hunting gun


Bad Points

this is a weighty gun so i would strongly recommend fitting sling swivels and sling if carrying for long periods in the field,*warning* any form of tuning can seriously take this gun over the legal limit.due to its high swept volume and cylinder diameter.uk limit is 12ft llbs for non fac owners


General Comments

The Weihrauch HW80 can be a twangy rifle if kept in its standard 12ft lbs tune for uk .which it wasnt really designed for. shoots at its best in FAC form ,tho a different spring guide can be fitted and a proper lube up to avoid the twangyness that a new rifle will provide.a very good and much loved rifle with its own cult following
