Good Points

Good food, excellent service. Took 22 friends along to the The Red Lion at Newton for a (pre-booked) Sunday lunch and all the party were very impressed with the food and the Red Lion in general. Comments like "the best Sunday lunch ever" were rife amongst the group.

Bad Points

None.

General Comments

The atmosphere and food were excellent. I have eaten there several times before but this was the first time I'd had Sunday lunch - it certainly won't be the last! The quality of the meats on the carvery was superb as were the vegetables. As the person organising (for the first time) such a large party I was a little apprehensive as to how a.) the pub would cope and b.) how my friends would like it. There were no problems with either. 10 out of 10 for value for money: carvery was just under £10, puds were £3.50 (I think). Highly recommended.
