The Red Lion at Newton, Newton near Sleaford, is a very nice country pub with a wlcoming open fire in the winter months. The food is very good throughout the week and the sunday lunches are the best we've ever had in a pub. They are so tasty and you can help yourself to the vegetables. There is a pleasant outside eating area in the summer. The current landlord has worked hard to improve not only the food but also the surroundings in this once very popular pub that had sadly become rather shabby. Well worth a visit.
