Good Points

Sound great, with deep bass and good separation. They're well made, and fit well in my ears (the only bud headphones i've owned that do).


Bad Points

Treble can be a tiny bit bright with some recordings.


General Comments

The Denon AH-C551 are by the far the best in-ear 'phones I've bought. They sound brilliant, they look good and they're well made. The different lengths of cable (longer for the right hand headphone) takes a bit of getting used to, but at least you don't get them the wrong way round!

Tip for iPod/iPhone users: have your EQ set to 'flat' or turn it off. I've found these 'phones show up the limitations of the iPod's sound quality quite markedly, when the EQ is used.
