5 string active bass. great for any type of music you want to play. it can produce a smooth melodic tone when needed for blues or jazz but it truely shines when playing punk rock or metal. the K5 has a sleek neck , so with the right player, fast playing has never felt so sexy! when playing my K5 i have never experienced any kind of fret buzz , even playing fast riffs high on the neck with a plec. the bass is light but very tough , theres no shoulder ache during gigs and is easy to move around with. i have found this £500 bass alot smoother and fuller to play then other basses way out of its price range. the only bad point to make about this bass is the way the jack imput is placed. its makes it harder to find wireless transmiters to fit with this bass if you were considering buying this bass , buy it!
