With the JML Halogen Oven you can see how your food is cooking and because of the timer, it's quite hard to burn your food. it lights the kitchen up in a lovely light too!! it's easy to clean and presumably uses a lot less energy than the cooker. in my opinion it doesnt dry out food as much as the oven either. In my experience it deosnt really save much cooking time, and of course it takes up worktop space. definitely worth it
