Very well balanced sound.
Exceptional quality for a PC speaker.

Bad Points
Sub-woofer volume does not attenuate the bass end sufficiently
General Comments
At the price the Logitech X-230 speakers are of ourstanding quality. I had driven them from a range of high quality sources as well as from the PC and their performance allows me to hear the difference in source quality. I find the sub-woofer control does not go far enough to reduce the powerful bass performance but I have easily remedied this by rolling-up a flat sponge or sock etc. to block the cabinet port.
