General Comments

We decided to stay at the Hotel Medina, Marrakech based on the recommendations of the Lonely Planet or Rough Guide books, I forget which. The stay was very pleasant and excellent value for money. What really made this a great place to stay was the roof top terrace where it was possible to enjoy some sun and look over the Marrakech skyline while the streets below bustle with activity. The hotel attracts people from many nationalities and we found it a good place to meet people and stay. Highly recommended for backpackers visiting the area or tourists that would prefer to spend there money at the Medina markets rather than on expensive hotels. They even have a very cheap room for 1 person making it ideal for lone travellers looking for a place to stay.
