Having read the many glowing reviews on the net decided that the Babyliss Pro 230 Ceramic Hair Straighteners would be the best to go for. After regularly using GHDs at the gym I was looking to purchase a pair of straighteners and all I can say is you get what you pay for!

The instructions fo use were thin on the ground in terms of how the 1-10 heat dial translates into a temprature setting, the on/off button for the straighteners was exactly in line with my thumb so I constantly felt like I was switching it on and off during use. My hair came out brittle and frizzy and curled again in an hour.
