I've owned a few pressure cookers throughout the years and the WMF Perfect Plus is without a doubt my favorite. It is the best engineered cooker for both reliability and ease of use right down to the pressure release...I can't answer why the other review is so negative does the lid or seal area on the pot have a dent is the gasket in good shape, by the way those gaskets are readily available on the WWW. if you can write that review you can have a gasket delivered to you in just a couple days. So before you run a quality product down you should find the problem first!!! I do wish they would release a 12 quart model...
I would recommend this to anyone who buys quality...
