Good Points

Nice looking design.


Bad Points

Expensive. Poor customer care. Poor quality design and fitting.


General Comments

Although the product looks good they are severely let down by the quality of the fitting and customer care. For my extension (a relatively simple lean too) they required all preparatory building work to have been completed before they would come and measure up. There was then an 8 week wait for delivery so factor this 2 month delay should've been factored into our schedule. They then require almost complete payment before delivery. After the extension was installed the fitters needed to return on 4 occasions over 2 months to complete the job due to missing parts, broken glass, poorly fitting seals and inaccurately produced flashings. As an example, so far we have had 3 different flashings around the base of the extension to try to stop it leaking. Even now the drop on the flashings is insufficient to take water away from the structure. This is a basic design fault and probably due to the way Apropos require the foundations to be made which means the structure sits flat on the brick base.
We wanted the lighting to hang from the inside of the structure and there was no provision for this and the solutions I have found so far are expensive.
The company has no complaints department and like other reviewers I have been unable to get the CEO to return my calls, on the 10 occasions I called him over 2 months he was always "on leave".

    I am now really worried as we have placed an order, but I don't trust their payment schedule which means a lot of money up front. They presented us with a weird Barclay guarantee thing which we didn't fully understand that would mean we wouldn't have to dish quite so much out upfront but they say Barclays refused us credit however it was all rather odd as we have never been refused credit and actually they were the client not us in reality. What should we do?? help
