Spearheading, I was a very happy Samsung YP-P2 user before I switched over to the Zen.
The sound in general is good. Volume limited at certain schemes " not like the Samsung products which provide maximum audio output. I often use my MP3 on my home amp & car stereo, unlike the Samsung which had different settings for listening thru headphones and another for amps, you are forced to increase the volume of your amp for you to pick up this device.
Some will like the overall size of the product, but I have found it a little fiddly. a few more inches, may be lengthwise would have done for me.
You only recharge thru USB. Bad for those on the move.
Menus don't always straight foward.
Besides these minor issues, Creative absolutely convinced me with this product. So if you should be up to a good player which provides you with a lot of storage the Creative Zen could be regarded or at least considered as a purchase. Me, for myself, will switch to the Samsung YP-P3 in the near future due to the better soundquality Samsung provides users with.
