Great picture, great sound and a great looking machine to boot. Superb CD playback-just wallow in that rich base. I can see why WHAT HIFI made it Product of the Year
Bad Points
Why oh why have they put an annoying spinning disc on the LCD screen? Also to make the player region free, you need a special remote that can send an RC6 code
General Comments
The 4100ose is truly a spectacular DVD player-plays all my DVD's without any problems (up to now) and CD's sound much better than my previous player(a Marantz cd-50LE). Picture quality is excellent (but can be a bit dark) and the machine seems to be well built-metal facia and fast tray action.

I had the dark problem aswell at first - top class leads fixed it!

agree re annoying spinning disc, and it is slow to recognise discs, and to eject them. But once up an running is a superb machine in both music or video format.
