Personally I though this film was spectacular! You may think I'm biased when it comes to a Shane Meadows film, but this is his best by far and one of the most underated films I'v ever seen! The storyline was fantastic and Paddy Consandine was fantastic! Im not a big fan of Hollywood revenge tales, this is a special film! This film is a violent one and may not be for sheepish characters, but Dead Man's Shoes is one of the best films I believe I'v ever seen! The acting is very realistic and the storyline is gripping, should leave you on the edge of your seat!
