United Airlines are far inferior to Westjet or Northwest airlines. Probably comparable to Continental, air canada or American. Would not use them again unless there was no other choice.
One of my pieces of luggage was badly damaged. I truly believe that they deliberately separated persons that were travelling together so that they could charge extra for changing seats. Plane was not full so they easily could have put persons travelling together in adjacent seats. I did however think Flight Attends were generally friendly and helpful
