timing chain


General Comments

march 05 with 35000 on clock. full service history, my Nissan Micra K10 GSX was going great, good miles to the gallon and nice diesel engine, until the engine warning light came on. my timing chain apparantly needs to be replaced and will cost me around £1160. I think this is a disgrace for a car that cost over £11000 when new, I feel that nissan should repair this for nothing. wont buy nissan again ever. i could have saved £5000 and bought a hyundai with a 7 year warranty but thought that nissan was the better quality car, obviously my experience has shown me not.
