Good Points

Very easy to use
As complex as u need it or leave in auto for ease


Bad Points

Noise at higher iso settings


General Comments

I have used many "pocket cameras" from a variety of makes and the TZ3 has been absolutely brilliant and can withstand a fair few knocks. I witnessed two children fighting over the camera when the lens was fully extended which resulted in the lens not retracting back - a slight "push" and the telescopic lens just popped back into place and an extremely relieved mother was once again happy.
The picture quality is suprisingly good even at A3 sizes from the auto mode and the 10x Leica lens with optical stabilisation is a treat to use.
The TZ5 offers face recognition and a few more megapixels so that means the TZ3 will now be even cheaper - highly reccomended.
